I have created a new stock account to avoid cluttering up this account with stock and featured art.  The Stock account will feature well over 100 stocks and textures that are all shot in Hi-Res.  (it takes a while to upload all the hi res images and title them all, so please bare with me) You can go to the stock account at http://ebstock.deviantart.com or just look up the user ebstock. As some of you know, I have been doing quite a bit of video work as of late.  Mostly compositing and motion graphics in After Effects.  I have been utilizing a lot of resources from Deviant Art for my school projects as well and you can see them in my Sweet Misery video which nearly all the visual assets are from DevArt.  Check it out at http://vimeo.com/7248383 Thanks to everyone who is submitting stock and keeping the community alive.  I am not sure what I would do without you!

I thought I would write an entry on what inspires me and gives me creative direction. I kind of consider myself a graphic designer with a bag of tricks that works every time.  I mean honestly nature is not a hard thing to grasp.  If you understand light, shadows, shades, blurs, depth of field, well, you got it.  Most of my photoshop work involves Gaussian Blur, Dodging, Burning, Pen Tool and a good sense of typography.   It's a very simple formula.  I honestly never learned this from school or text books, I learned it by staring at images of what I thought was good.   for 10 years I never did one photoshop tutorial, it just came to me natura
